My May Factoidz Articles

I published eleven articles at Factoidz.com in May. All were about hockey, except for one. Some were about the NHL and others were about junior hockey in Canada.



The 1958-59 Topps#66 Bobby Hull rookie card.

 The one non-hockey article was about indoor box lacrosse. The article featured the Junior A Orangeville Northmen of the Ontario Lacrosse Association. The team has dominated the OLA and junior lacrosse in Canada for the past four years. Even though Orangeville, Ontario is a smallish town of just 26,000 inhabitants, the Northmen lacrosse program is a major feeder to the National Lacrosse League.

I also focused on the crazy offensive early years of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. 200+ point season and 100+ goal seasons were the norm in the 1970's and early 1980's in the QMJHL.

I wrote an article on the Hull family - Bobby, Dennis and Brett - who are the highest scoring family to play in the NHL. This was a buddy article to a post at Vintage Hockey Cards Report on the Bobby Hull rookie card.
