In the winter, this suspension bridge in used by snowmobilers to cross the French River. In the summer, it serves as a rest area for travellers on Highway 400 between Sudbury and Parry Sound. The French River drains into Georgian Bay. Georgian Bay is a part of Lake Huron, which is one of the Great Lakes. This region of Ontario, Canada is known for tourism, mining and forestry.
